Went there to meet someone. We had really good food, and our waitress was awesome! Thank you so much!
Stopped for lunch while driving through Dawson. Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you. The interior is cozy and the staff was very welcoming. My husband and I ordered the chicken fried steak and Salisbury steak meals. Portions were very generous. The food was delicious! The pie selection was amazing. Couldn't leave without trying a piece of the strawberry rhubarb and dutch apple pies.
Best chicken fried steak I have had in years. And the lemon creme pie was delicious. If you are heading down 75 definitely stop by.
Small cafe on the side of the road. Pleasant stop while traveling! I had the small chicken fry, mashed potatoes and corn. More than enough food and tasted good! Husband had fish and fries and enjoyed everything.
Friendly staff and good food. Bring a big appetite. Glad we found it on our trip to Omaha.
This was our first visit. Great food (we had hot beef, tenderloin, pulled pork, and a BLT) and pie! It was pricey (over 100 for 4 of us with tip) but we had two appetizers and three pieces of pie. One of those rare times when you go out for delicious, homemade food and get your money's worth.
Went inside this cute little unassuming house/cafe and was greeted by the waitress, Carmen. She was very friendly and helpful. Talked with her for a bit, she answered all our questions and was very informative about the menue. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries, my husband ordered the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and gravy with peas. We also ordered the fried cauliflower as an appetizer. The food came out, and as you will see by the pictures, all home made. I have to say, it was the best burger I have had in a very long time! We both enjoyed our meal very much! If you are traveling down highway 75, just outside of Dawson, you must stop and give them a try! You will not leave hungry or disappointed!! Thank you 6 Mile Cafe for a wonderful lunch!! The Walkers
